NCYFL & Norwich City FC join forces

We are pleased to announce that the Norfolk Combined Youth Football League (NCYFL) and Norwich City Football Club are to team up and work together on a number of forthcoming projects.

As part of this new relationship, NCYFL are pleased to confirm that we will be holding our first formal ‘Presentation Day’ at the end of the 2018/2019 season at Carrow Road.  This represents a great opportunity for a special occasion for youth footballers playing in our leagues and cups.

Norwich City is committed to supporting youth football in Norfolk and through the partnership will raise awareness and promote the improved Junior Canaries Membership Scheme to players within the NCYFL, as well provide the opportunity to win match day tickets and prizes.

Peter Ford (NCYFL Chairman), said “We are delighted to partner with Norwich City – Carrow Road will be an excellent venue for our first presentation day and something which we hope will be memorable for players.  It is pleasing to see a professional club with a clear appreciation of youth football.”

Norwich City Commercial Youth Development Manager Lynette Hannant added: “We are really pleased to be working with the Norfolk Combined Youth Football League to help us connect with more young people across the county, and we look forward to hosting them at Carrow Road for their inaugural Presentation Day next year which will be a great occasion and celebration of those youngsters involved.”

To celebrate the partnership, we have 6 Junior Canaries Memberships to give away. Competition details will follow soon. To find out more about the Junior Canaries membership, click here.
