At U9 and U10

  • The team that finishes FIRST in the Coloured Group A, will play the team that finishes SECOND in the Coloured Group B in Semi Final 1.
  • The team that finishes SECOND in the Coloured Group A, will play the team that finishes FIRST in the Coloured Group B in Semi Final 2.
  • The winners of Semi Final 1 and 2 in each colour group, will play in a final.
  • In a trophy event, where there is only one group in a coloured competition, the teams that finish FIRST and SECOND will play in a final.

At U11

  • The team that finishes FIRST in the Kappa Cup Group A, will play the team that finishes FIRST in the Kappa Cup Group B.
  • The team that finishes FIRST in the 4sports Trophy Group A, will play the team that finishes FIRST in the 4sports Trophy Group B
  • The team that finishes FIRST in the Kappa Trophy Group A, will play the team that finishes FIRST in the Kappa Trophy Group B.

For U9-U11

  • Play each other in your cup group ONCE eg. Kappa Cup U9 Red.
  • Tables will be visible on Full-Time, score lines/results will not be shown and should continue to not be posted by clubs.
  • The Power Play rule cannot be used.
  • Matches must be played in halves.
  • Goal difference is not used, head to head record is used.
  • Players can only be registered for one team, and cannot play for anyone else in that age group. eg. a player cannot play for any other team at that age group (including a transfer as they will be cup tied). This includes clubs where they may have multiple teams in the same age group eg. A player that plays for the ‘Harriers’ of Club X, could not play for the ‘Hurricanes’ of Club X.
  • Players could play for a team at U8 and U9, or U9 and U10, or U10 and U11, as they are different competitions, providing they are registered.
  • Failure to fulfil a fixture (except in the event of pitch conditions) will see the tie awarded to the non-defaulting team. Clubs MAY be fined UP TO £50.
  • If a match is postponed due to pitch conditions, the fixture shall be re-arranged at the earliest available opportunity.
  • No extra-time or penalties to be played in the group stage format. There will be extra time and penalties in the semi-final/final format if the match is a draw.
  • Results of all trophy event fixtures must be reported to the Full-Time/Matchday system.
  • Where there is a kit colour clash then the away team will change colours.
  • Teams can mutually agree to bring forward fixtures if there are gaps, please contact Jo or Karen – at U9/10, or Gary – at U11 to confirm this.
  • U10 5v5 matches matches remain in their development format. Players will be able to continue in those matches.
